The older inhabitants of Oia Village used to call this house as “Kaminada” (chimney in Greek) because it was a very good spot to observe if a ship they were waiting was approaching Santorini.
Another use of this house was to accommodate wedding parties due to its’ sizable living space and high cross-vault ceiling.
